Blending: Can it calculate the optimal mix of 2 different ore products to sell on the market? Ex: Can it solve iron ore blends?
Multiproducts: What should you consider waste, what %purity can you still modify your mining waste into a marketable product? (As it, can it be blended in the first place if not already optimal?)
Alternative Multiple Processing Flowsheets: Are all the potential processing options provided? Does it give you more than just the ‘optimal’ solution to view when ran?
Stockpiling: Optimal amount and quality of your stockpile to keep in response to market constraints updated period to period.
Dynamic Allocation of Capital Expenditure: Do you need to predefine all your variables in a snapshot? Do you have to tell your software what you’re planning to spend on each component already? Can the software, operating on calculated basic unit cost, decide what your CAPEX on each variable be?
Optimal Mine Production Capacity: Does the software calculate for you what the size of your mine should be? Without the use of any other software, just by itself, can you determine the optimum production capacity and economic mine life in a single instance?
